FTSCC Grant County offers you the opportunity to pursue an undergraduate degree in theology.
Designed for those called to ministry as well as those looking to grow in their relationship with Christ, our undergraduate program focuses on the discipline of theology. We offer a theology major at the diploma and advanced diploma level, as well as associate and bachelor degrees.
DIPLOMA of THEOLOGY
FIRST YEAR PROGRAM:
The core courses of this program are the prerequisites to all other programs offered to give the student a solid foundation in the Word of God; it is only an introduction to the Scriptures and should not be considered ample training for those desiring entrance into full-time ministry. The Diploma of Theology is a 30 credit hour program which is a prerequisite to the associate level programs.
ASSOCIATE of THEOLOGY (Th.A.)
SECOND YEAR PROGRAM
This course of study is designed to provide the student with a better understanding of the church and its doctrines as described in the New Testament. This program represents an additional 30 credits beyond the Diploma of Theology. This will provide the student with a total of 60 credits and an Associate of Theology degree.
ADVANCED DIPLOMA of THEOLOGY
THIRD YEAR PROGRAM
This program is designed to enhance the student’s knowledge of the doctrines and operations within the church, the Body of Christ. This program is 30 credits above the Associate degree and totals 90 credits for the Advanced Diploma of Theology.
BACHELOR of THEOLOGY (Th.B.)
FOURTH YEAR PROGRAM
This program is designed to provide the student with a more extensive knowledge of the doctrines of the church and in preparation for graduate studies in theology and/or other related fields. The Bachelor of Theology is a 30-credit hour program above the Advanced Diploma of Theology for a total of 120 credits.
